January 20, 2009 was an incredible day. I have hope. I feel proud. I want to be a better citizen, human being. What a day!

Quincy Jones has asked President Obama to think about creating a Secretary of the Arts for his cabinet. I strongly feel for us to be a global leader we must embrace the arts. Every other country in the world sees that a great society needs a strong cultural base, yet we, one of the supposed leaders, barely speak of the arts.
