contemplating the stars

I read this New York Times article about a really cool film, Journey to the Stars, playing at the Hayden Planetarium at the American Museum of Natural History in New York starting on July 4th. I wish I could get a chance to see it. Alas... but if you live in the New York area you should check it out. Sounds really cool. I mean just think about this...

"Each of our bodies contains a teaspoonful of elements, like gold, oxygen, iron, carbon and so forth, from the first stars in the universe 13 billion years ago."

Now whether you believe in the Big Bang or not... that is pretty damn cool to contemplate!

Enjoy the Fourth!
